Working memory

Dr. Alan Baddeley has been one of the leading researchers in the field of working memory. His model of working memory, published with Dr. Graham Hitch in 1972, has been one of the seminal models to guide research in memory. In his interview with goCognitive, Dr. Baddeley describes the different components of working memory and how their roles have changed over the years. Still an active researcher 40 years after the initial publication of the model, he has a unique perspective on trends in modern memory research. This goCognitive interview is of interest to anyone who is a student of memory and who wants an integrative perspective. It was recorded at the University of York in the fall of 2010 (funding by the National Science Foundation DUE-0942497).
